I don't know if this would be against hosting site rules.  However, since we all have Firefox, installing adblock or adblock plus will get rid of all the annoying ads from this site.

I have adblock with filter set:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1136

I also heard adblock plus works well:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865
