First off, the obvious stuff ....
1) You must be using Firefox. New versions of the script will ONLY run on Firefox3. Using Firefox2 requires the older version of the script (there's a link on the download page).
2) You must have greasemonkey installed (the newer the better)
3) You must install the script by browsing to this page. The install link is in the top right.
4) Make sure greasemonkey is enabled AND that the individual script is enabled. Yes, there are 2 checkboxes: one in the menu and one on the manage scripts page.
5) You must browse to the play-by-play page, NOT the box score.
With that out of the way ....
Open "Manage User Scripts" in the greasemonkey menu and make sure the include box has these lines (take note of the asterisks):
| Code: |
http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=*&mode=pbp
http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=*&mode=pbp&quarter=*
|
Open up firefox's error console (it's in the Tools menu), browse to a play-by-play, and check to see if the script leaves any errors behind.
Try reinstalling the script. You can use this version. Watch the console and you will know immediately if the script is running at all as it will print a slew of messages in the console.
Try reinstalling greasemonkey. Worst case, try reinstalling firefox as well.
Best I can do without more information.

"cName has no properties" is normally the Firefox2 error. Check which Firefox version you're using. You must install Firefox 3 for the new versions to work. FF2 will not auto-update to FF3, you have to do it manually. There's a link on the script download page to the last version which worked with Firefox2 in case you can't upgrade.
